Robin, born in Belgium 1976, obtained a PhD in Microbiology at Ghent University in 2003. After nine years of research on probiotics for environmental applications, Robin joined the company Chrisal as R&D manager to start the probiotic cleaning concept. In 2014, he became shareholder and CEO of Chrisal NV. Today, synbiotic infection control is the specialty of Chrisal and Robin is mainly in charge of R&D and regulatory affairs.
