Nicolás Fuentes Colomer
Product Stewardship Manager, Cefic
Nicolás Fuentes Colomer is a Manager at the Product Stewardship department Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council, where he has worked on polymers and microplastics, and currently deals with sustainable products and the chemicals-products-waste interface. An environmental lawyer by training with an LL.M. from Vermont Law School in the US (2012), Nicolás specialised in providing strategic advice to industry sectors in Brussels including batteries, lighting, adhesives and construction products.
He joined Cefic in 2018 where he has been coordinating the industry input to the European Commission’s actions on polymers, in particular with the regards to the proposal of industry pilot projects on polymer grouping.
