Since 2015, Rebecca has been closely involved in developing and implementing the reforms to the legislation governing the introduction of industrial chemicals into Australia (the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme – AICIS – which commenced on 1 July 2020). Prior to this, she worked in the new chemicals section of the previous regulatory scheme, where she gained extensive experience in the human health risk assessment of new industrial chemicals. Rebecca completed her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Sydney in 2006.
