Darlene Susa-Anderson
With nearly 40 years of global regulatory compliance experience, Darlene’s expertise is deep in many areas, and she currently serves as Senior Regulatory Scientist at UL. Darlene has held several leadership positions, where she managed the various teams responsible for UL’s Regulatory Database, hazard communication services, consulting services and technical training programs. Her experience in regulatory compliance is across multiple industrial sectors: laboratory chemicals, water treatment chemicals, specialty chemicals, polymers, paints and coatings, wood treatment and petroleum-based products.
Prior to joining UL, Darlene was Director Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Fisher Scientific, Director of Product Regulatory Affairs at Calgon Corporation, Manager of Information Services/Toxicologist, Koppers and Toxicologist, Gulf Oil Corporation.
Darlene is highly requested speaker and has presented on a variety of regulatory topics at multiple venues including; DGAC, SCHC, AICHE, ChemChon, and the National Association of Scientific Materials Managers. Darlene is a Past President for the Society of Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC) and is a Distinguished Member of SCHC.
