Mariano Alessi is a doctor specializing in Occupational Medicine. In 1996 he entered as Medical Director at the Ministry of Health in Rome, Italy, and since 2007 he has been appointed IT Member of the Forum. He has several years of experience in national and international regulatory issues in collaboration with regional supervisory authorities and other central authorities. From 2019 he directs the REACH / CLP unit on behalf of the Italian Competent Authority represented by the General Director of Prevention Ministry of Health, coordinating with other ministerial administrations and scientific bodies interested in the safe use of chemical products, for health, environmental purposes and sustainable development.
