Justine Maillot
Consumption and Production Campaigner & Policy coordinator of the Rethink Plastic Alliance, Zero Waste Europe
Justine has an educational background in International, European and environmental law. She worked at the EU Unit of Greenpeace for four years on EU ocean and fisheries policy. After an eighteen month break travelling and getting involved in different small local projects, she joined Surfrider Foundation Europe, where she mainly worked on plastic pollution and contributed to the work of the Rethink Plastic alliance. Besides the work on plastics for the Rethink Plastic Alliance she works in the Zero Waste Europe team on Consumption and Production where she leads work on food contact materials, particularly the health impacts from single use packaging.
