Regulatory Summit Europe 2025

Ian is the acting head of unit for the pollution and health team at the EEA. He has over 20 years experience working on this topic in the private sector, and in the public sector at both a national level in Ireland (with the Environmental Protection Agency) and within the EU system (at the EEA). In his current role the main areas of focus of the team relate to collection, assessment and publication of multiple EU level environmental datasets and exploring the health and environmental impacts of various environmental risk factors such as air pollution, chemicals, noise and water pollution.
