Deputy Director, Chemical Products in the Department for Risk Prevention, French Ecology Ministry
Oliver is the deputy head of the office of Chemical Products, in charge of the regulation of pesticides (phytopharmaceutical products and biocides). His unit is the competent authority for the Biocidal Products Regulation, both at EU and national level. He works closely with their national evaluation agency Anses on all matters regarding biocides.
He was formerly a policy advisor at the Directorate for Water and Biodiversity in charge of implementing the Water Framework Directive on all issues regarding chemical contamination of surface waters.
