Ligia Negulici works in Unit E4 (Pesticides and Biocides) in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE). Her main responsibilities concern the implementation and monitoring of the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), including in particular product authorisation, derogations and reporting related matters. She joined the European Commission in 2017.
Ligia holds a degree in political economy awarded by University ‘La Sapienza’ (Rome). Prior to joining the European Commission, she worked at the European Chemicals Agency and in other EU organisations.
