Ulrich Nehring
Food chemist Dr Ulrich Nehring is Managing Director of Nehring Consultants in Germany, an independent consultancy firm in the field of food law, food hygiene, quality management as well as requirements and conformity work for food contact materials.
For 25 years until 2017 Ulrich Nehring was working as Managing Director and scientific head of Institut Nehring, an independent testing laboratory specialized in food safety, hygiene and compliance testing of foodstuffs and food contact materials.
Dr Nehring is also Chairman of the Food Contact Working Group of the German Verband Metallverpackungen (the German metal packaging industry association) and is a member of the Metal Packaging Europe (MPE) food contact working group as well as of T-JIG.
