Catherine Gunby
Executive Director, Fidra
Catherine joined Fidra as the Executive Director four years ago. Fidra is an evidence based environmental charity that works with industry, government and the public to achieve solutions to environmental issues that catalyse wider systems change. Catherine currently leads work on chemical regulations and policies, including chemicals and the circular economy. She oversees projects that include furniture and furnishings and chemical flame retardants, PFAS (pesticides/textiles/food packaging), sewage sludge and contaminants and a global initiative on plastic pellets. Previous to this role, Catherine worked for over 25 years’ in sustainable development in the international sector.
