Tim Doggett is the Chief Executive Officer of the Chemical Business Association (CBA), a multi-award-winning trade association representing the UK’s chemical supply chain. Under his leadership, the CBA plays a pivotal role in shaping industry standards, advocating for the sector, and driving innovation.

With a strong international presence, Tim actively champions the chemical supply chain not only in the UK but globally. He engages with multiple stakeholders at all levels, fostering business growth, trade expansion, and knowledge-sharing. His work also extends to capacity building in critical areas such as international security, safety, and regulatory compliance. A passionate advocate for talent development, he is dedicated to advancing skills and professional growth within the industry.

Tim is a key voice in influential advisory groups, including the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) Critical Imports Council, the Domestic Advisory Group for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) Oversight Group on UK REACH. His expertise is also sought on the international stage, where he collaborates with high-level organisations such as the Group of Seven (G7), the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), and INTERPOL. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Industry Advisory Group for the Global Congress on Chemical Security and Emerging Threats, working to mitigate risks associated with chemicals and explosives in the context of global security.

A dynamic and inspirational leader, Tim is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and a Fellow of the Society of Leadership Fellows at St George’s House, Windsor Castle. He also holds key roles in industry leadership, serving as a Board Director and Treasurer of the Trade Association Forum (TAF), an Ambassador for Generation Logistics, and the founder of Generation STEAM, further underscoring his commitment to shaping the future of the sector.
