Romina Dávila Martínez Solares
Bachelor of Science in Biology from Universidad Westhill, with Master's degrees in Environmental Management, Policy and Law from Universidad Anáhuac del Norte, and in Senior Management from the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial. With over 17 years of experience in sustainability and waste management—primarily within the plastics industry—she currently works as an independent consultant specializing in circular economy, public policy, and institutional relations. She previously served as Regional Manager of Sustainability and Public Affairs at ALPLA México, where she led strategies across Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America, and strengthened relationships with associations, government agencies, and regulatory bodies. Prior to that, she spent nearly 17 years at ECOCE A.C., where she served as Director of Operations, leading environmental education programs, community collection initiatives, and partnerships with all levels of government to promote recycling and responsible waste management.
