Dirk has been Business Development Manager at DESOTEC since 2021. In his previous position he was Technical Manager, Stationary Emission Control, at Johnson Matthey, Redwitz, Germany. 

Following his Doctorate in chemistry at University Karlsruhe, Germany in 2007, he spent 2008-2012 as Postdoctoral Fellow at Sydney University, Australia, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, working on theoretical chemistry/Carbon-recovery processes.
