Christine Nahas
Christine Nahas is an environmental policy expert with experience in chemicals management, climate advocacy, and air quality regulation. As a registered lobbyist and Policy Manager for Environment and Health Initiatives at the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC), she plays a key role in shaping Canadian policy frameworks.
Christine has contributed to major policy initiatives, including industrial carbon pricing and the modernization of Bill S-5 under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA)—Canada’s cornerstone legislation for chemicals management. With a strong understanding of Canada’s regulatory landscape, she helps industry navigate evolving environmental policies while balancing sustainability, compliance, and competitiveness.
Christine holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary and has diverse experience in industry advocacy and regulatory affairs.
