Kelley Raymond

Senior Director, Government Relations, American Petroleum Institute

Kelley Raymond has over two decades of experience working on various energy, environment, and regulatory reform policy issues and currently works for the American Petroleum Institute as Senior Director for Government Relations, managing the environmental advocacy priorities of the oil and natural gas industry. Previously, she was Senior Director of Sustainability and Environmental Advocacy for Daikin U.S. Corporation, leading on environmental priorities for the world’s largest HVAC manufacturer and industries only integrated chemical manufacture, directing activities at the federal and state level to align advocacy efforts with sustainability practices and goals. Over her career, Mrs. Raymond worked for the Office of Air and Radiation at the Environmental Protection Agency as a Senior Advisor where she oversaw various regulatory programs under the Clean Air Act, and was responsible for interfacing with the Office of Management and Budget and cross-cutting initiatives for future significant rulemakings and implementing Executive Orders, as well as advocating on behalf of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, & Refrigeration Institute, and the National Association of Manufacturers. A native Californian, Kelley started out in state policy working for the California Chamber of Commerce, and Western Growers. She has also worked on behalf of Californians to Stop Frivolous Lawsuits, and various political campaigns and in fundraising such as for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
