Jay West is Senior Director, Chemical Products and Technology, at the American Chemistry Council, or ACC, in Washington, DC, where he currently serves as the Executive Director of ACC’s Performance Fluoropolymer Partnership, a specialty trade association that works at the state, national, and international levels to advocate for the ability to manufacture and use fluoropolymers in the future.
For many years, Jay has been the head of the industry delegation to the chemicals work at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. There, he coordinates input and participation by industry experts in OECD’s extensive portfolio of work on chemical testing, assessment, and risk management.
