Associate Expert, United Nations Environment Programme

Rebecca is an Associate Expert at UNEP’s Global Framework on Chemicals Secretariat in Geneva. She supports the Global Framework on Chemicals Fund by providing operational and technical assistance to countries implementing the Framework. Her work focuses on advancing sustainable chemical management by strengthening national and regional capacities, promoting safe and sustainable practices along value chains and fostering multi-stakeholder cooperation to deliver tangible benefits for both people and the environment.   

Prior to joining UNEP, Rebecca worked as a policy advisor at GIZ, contributing to national and international efforts to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. She holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences from Wageningen University and is committed to promoting sustainable and systemic solutions to global environmental challenges.
