Rati Bhattacharya
Rati Bhattacharya serves as Partner at ERM Singapore, leading Sustainable Operations across the Asia-Pacific region. She brings more than 18 years of hands-on experience empowering chemical, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and technology companies to manage operational risks, strengthen compliance, and build resilient and responsible supply chains.
Rati’s expertise lies in translating ambitious sustainability and regulatory expectations into executable systems that work across complex, multi-tier global value chains. She specializes in the design and implementation of integrated management systems aligned to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO 14064 standards, and is a certified lead auditor with 400+ hours of circularity and waste-related audits under her belt. Her audit and compliance programs span high-risk sectors including chemicals manufacturing, diversified energy, pharma, automotive, CPG, and data center operations.
Rati has led large-scale waste and hazardous materials programs across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Japan, and India, improving legal compliance, site-specific waste controls, and digital enablement for performance monitoring. She has also designed supplier decarbonization and ESG maturity uplift programs for global organizations such as PTT Group, Walmart, Owens Corning, DuPont, Cargill, Procter & Gamble and many others.
Rati works closely with both corporations and governments to accelerate industry-level transformation. Her policy collaboration portfolio includes work with the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, Singapore Management University, and Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor on advancing circular models, plastics stewardship, and innovation pathways for waste-intensive economies. With a Master’s degree in Environment Management and advanced data science capabilities, she brings technical depth to projects that require predictive analytics, digital traceability, and supply chain transparency. Her leadership enables organizations to meet compliance obligations today while engineering pathways to low-carbon, zero-waste growth for tomorrow.
