Biocides Europe 2025

Raffaella Cresti has been Senior Scientist at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Italy, since February 2025, where she is part of the Italian Ministry of Health.

Raffaella holds a degree in Chemistry, she has expertise in chemicals regulation, in exposure and risk assessment for human health. She was the alternate member of the Biocidal Products Committee (BPC) at the European Chemicals Agency (BPR - ECHA); member of the Human Exposure Expert Group (ECHA); flexible member of the BPC Working Group for human health (BPR - ECHA). Currently she is member of the FORUM Working Group “Enforceability of restrictions - advisory process” (REACH - ECHA); member of the REACH Exposure Expert Group (REACH - ECHA).

She is co-author of several scientific publications.
