Javier Sanchez Saez
Head of Unit - Biocidal Products, European Chemicals Agency
Javier Sanchez Saez is the Head of the Biocidal Products Unit at the European Chemicals Agency since November 2023. Javier has been working at the European Chemicals Agency since 2008. Prior to his current role, he focused his efforts on the implementation of the REACH regulation, in particular the registration process, as well as on the poison centres notification activities of the Agency.
Before joining ECHA he worked at the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, and at the Permanent Representation of Spain to the EU, in Brussels. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, Food and Agricultural Science.
