Wendy Hillwalker
Wendy Hillwalker has over 20 years of experience as an environmental toxicologist, regulatory toxicologist and risk assessor. She received her PhD from Oregon State University’s Department of Molecular and Environmental Toxicology investigating sources and impacts of elements and metals in the environment. Wendy is a Principal Toxicologist with SC Johnson, the global consumer brand company, within the Global Safety Assessment and Regulatory Affairs Department. She manages global regulatory, registration and market requirements for pesticide and biocide brands OFF!, Raid, Autan, Baygon, as well as supporting sustainability initiatives, such as Greenlist™.
Wendy is passionate about sustainability objectives and collaborative strategies to use good science to solve real world problems. She values SC Johnson’s principles for making hard choices to do the right thing for consumers and the environment. Wendy contributes to global collaborative initiatives on emerging issues, such as persistent materials, endocrine disruption and biodiversity degradation, through current and past engagements with Cefic, AISE, HCPA, IFRA, ECETOC, HESI, ACI, SETAC. Career highlights include her term as a SETAC North America Board Member and receiving the Eugene Kenaga SETAC Membership Award for developing programs to enhance professional experiences.
