Konstantin Pimenov
Konstantin Pimenov has more than 20 years of experience in industry and academia in both the United States and Russia. He is currently a Senior Regulatory Specialist at UL, where he is responsible for the regulatory content on UL’s chemical regulatory database as it pertains to Russia and several neighboring countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Konstantin began his career as a chemist at a regional Environmental Protection Agency in Russia, being involved in the development of test methods for hazardous air pollutants, which were later incorporated into nationwide standards. After moving to the United States and earning a Master of Science degree at the University of Pittsburgh, Konstantin has held various positions at chemical laboratories in the energy industry.
Konstantin participates in activities of chemical societies, such as ACS as well as in international policy discussions within the Virtual Working Group on Data Exchange of APEC Chemical Dialogue forum.
