An overview of efficacy requirements under the BPR

Chemical Watch’s Senior Regulatory Analyst, David Dillon, will lead this training course, to be run in two two-hour modules. Aimed at the non-expert, the course will give a comprehensive overview of the efficacy requirements for the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR). It will examine the BPR’s information/data demands, its methodology and expected performance criteria.

Key topics covered:

  • the importance of efficacy in the context of BPR;
  • what types of data and performance criteria are required to substantiate label claims on biocidal products; and
  • how claim substantiation applies to biocidal products types such as insecticides and repellents currently on the market.
