On the latter she is looking into aspects of the Battery Passport and recently managed an assessment of applications for derogations from the Article 11 obligations on battery removability and replaceability. The study included the development of a methodology and assessment of multiple applications for derogation. The former profited from Yifaat’s experience with the RoHS Directive, where she has been involved in studies on exemption assessment, substance assessment and impact assessment since 2012, also developing some of the assessment methodologies.

Initially trained as an architect, she completed a master’s degree in environmental management. Her initial training has strengthened her multi-disciplinary perspective which has played an important role in her 20 years’ experience as an environmental consultant.
