Hardy leads Crypton Europe, producer of performance upholstery. His textile-centric career has evolved around customers and product innovation. He led teams that developed, patented and commercialized novel moisture and flame barriers, textile finishes, graffiti-resistant coated fabrics, and innovative fabric structures. He was a member of the USA’s ANSI 336 committee that developed the sustainability standard for commercial furnishing fabrics, is Vice President of the Synthetic Yarn & Fabric Association, and he is a technical committee member of the National Council of Textile Organizations.
