Letchumi Thannimalay
Head Product Risk Management, GHSSE, PETRONAS
Letchumi is Head of Product Risk Management at PETRONAS since 2017. She received her PhD degree in Environmental Engineering on “Application of GHS and LCA for management of chemicals in Malaysia” from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.
Has 27 years expertise in the area of environmental toxicology and chemical safety specializing in risk assessment and risk management, exposure modelling for human health and environment, occupational safety practices.
Letchumi has also published several technical papers on Life Cycle Assessments since 2013 and presented findings at Life Cycle Initiative and JRC Workshop on LCA Databases at France. Recently she is leading life cycle assessment for petroleum and gas products in PETRONAS.
