Irantzu is the Project Officer at the Joint Research Center leading the SSbD project in the Technologies for Health Unit and in charge of the safety aspects of the SSbD framework. She has more than 15 years of experience as a professional in the field of regulatory affairs and product stewardship. Irantzu is an organic chemist by training with postgraduate qualifications in occupational health and safety, chemical engineering and toxicology.
