Hugues joined ECHA in 2012. He is responsible for the Biocidal Products Unit which, together with the Biocide Active Substances unit, provides the biocides technical and scientific assessment activities and the R4BP 3 product management. He has been working at the national and EU level on risk assessment and management for more than twenty years. He graduated in veterinary medicine and also has post-graduate qualifications in business management, and in statistics and epidemiology. Hugues is French.
