Jeff Morris
Jeff Morris served as director of the EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) until his retirement in 2020. Jeff led the office’s implementation of the 2016 amendments to the Toxic Substances Control Act, playing a key role in establishing the EPA’s current regulatory and policy approaches for new and existing chemicals.
Jeff’s extensive international experience includes leading the United States delegation to the OECD’s Chemicals Committee. Before joining OPPT, Jeff served as the National Program Director for Nanotechnology in the Office of Research and Development, and began his EPA career in the Office of Pesticide Programs implementing the then-new Food Quality Protection Act.
Upon retiring from the EPA, Jeff established Jeff Morris Solutions with the mission to help clients find solutions to move new chemicals to market, or keep existing chemicals on the market, in ways that are both good for business and protective of the environment.
