Jonathan Kalmuss-Katz is a senior attorney in Earthjustice’s Toxic Exposure and Health program, which is dedicated to protecting people and the environment from toxic chemicals. 

He's working on several cases related to the Environmental Protection Agency’s implementation of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), including petitions for review of the EPA’s methylene chloride and 1,4-dioxane risk evaluations and a challenge to EPA’s exclusion of commercial uses from its ban methylene chloride paint strippers.

Before joining Earthjustice, he worked at an environmental law firm in New York, where he focused on litigation involving environmental impact review and hazardous substance remediation under state and federal law. He is a graduate of NYU School of Law and of Carleton College.
