Ken Zarker manages Ecology’s Pollution Prevention and Regulatory Assistance Program, including implementing the Children’s Safe Products Act and Chemical Action Plans.
Ken has also led efforts to reform state and federal regulatory programs, including the 2016 reform of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Ken serves on several boards and committees, including the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) and the Interstate Chemicals Clearinghouse (IC2). Ken holds a B.S. in Environmental Management from the University of Houston at Clear Lake City.
