Olga Speranskaya
Olga is a Co-director of Health and Environment Justice Support, an international NGO working on health, toxic chemicals, and stakeholder engagement. She is a Senior Advisor to the International Pollutants Elimination Network (IPEN) and represents civil society organisations in the Steering Group of UNEP Chemicals in Products Programme and in the Multistakeholder Advisory Committee of the UN One Planet network’s Consumer Information Programme for Sustainable Consumption and Production (CI-SCP). Olga works with countries on policy and regulatory development and risk management, including projects which comprise training and capacity
building for the implementation of environmental agreements. She works with stakeholder groups on strategic planning and organizational design to strengthen their participation in environmental decision making. Olga received the 2009 Goldman and 2011 UNEP Earth Champion awards for grassroots environmental activism in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.
