Andrew Brooks
Andrew Brooks has been advising companies on the legal requirements relating to the supply of chemical products in the European Union (EU) for nearly a decade. His expertise spans many different product types and industry sectors. He helps many companies navigate complex regulatory requirements in order to successfully launch new products, maintain compliance for existing products and identify key future challenges.
As a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA), Brooks has helped companies that are shipping dangerous products to identify areas of improvement, ensure compliance post legislation updates, as well as provide ongoing support.
Prior to joining UL, Brooks worked in the chemicals and biochemicals industry, in R&D for a manufacturing company, and for an environmental monitoring and management company. He holds a doctorate in chemistry, with a focus on the preparation and study of magnetic and electrical conducting properties of organic-inorganic hybrid materials.
