Peter Day is a senior policy advisor within the EPA’s regulatory policy team. Peter is responsible for developing operational policy related to chemicals management in New Zealand under the Hazardous Substance and New Organisms Act (HSNO). He is also a focal point for input into the OECD’s chemicals and biotechnologies work. Prior to joining the EPA in 2019, he was based in Brussels for 16 years, leading on regulatory affairs for a European chemical industry association.
