Sok-Han gains her industry experience as an independent regulatory affairs consultant, with a focus on Japan, South Korea and other Asian markets. She serves as a conduit between the Japanese market and the rest of the world, assisting industry in navigating through complex compliance frameworks. Her specialty is in food and beverage, food contact, health supplement and cosmetic products. Sok-Han is a fluent speaker of Cantonese, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin.

Dr. Zhu Lei, Researcher, Director of Food Safety Standard Division I, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA). In 2016, she studied the regulation and evaluation method of food contact materials (FCM) in EFSA as a guest scientist. She is the Deputy Chairman of the Branch Committee on Food Related Products of the National Food Safety Standards Review Committee, the Deputy Secretary General of the plastic subcommittee of Direct Food Contact Materials (FCM) Standardization Technology Committee, the member of the ISO/TC 52 International Standardization Technology Committee of Light Gauge Metal Containers, the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Expert Committee, the National Packaging Standardization Technology Committee and the National Plastic Products Standardization Technology Committee, etc. 

Nick has 13 years’ experience in Food Contact material Safety & Chemical Regulation, whilst heading different positions in TUVR in Asia Pacific region and Greater China region related to Food Contact materials and chemical regulation. A senior expert to support multinational corporation for the regulatory compliance and product safety evaluation for various products (including Food Packaging, kitchenware, household appliance and food processing machinery etc.) for major markets (EU, US, China, Japan, Mercosur etc.) He has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry.

Chen Hu provides assistance to foreign and domestic clients in the area of food, food packaging, and chemical control, in matters related to regulatory compliance in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other Asian countries.

Tina Robertson is a Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager, Food Contact Materials at knoell USA LLC, based out of Chicago. She provides regulatory support and to ensure compliance of food contact materials, reviews product compositions in accordance with global regulations, and prepares registration dossiers of food contact materials (FCM) in USA, EU, and Asia.

Marco has been involved in food contact materials for more than 20 years. He is now serving as the expert in various organisations: The member of Reviewing Committee for Chinese National Food Safety Standards, The member of Standardisation Committee for plastic food contact material, and Standardisation Committee for food contact paper, etc. To date, he has published more than 100 papers in journals and academic conferences regarding the safety of food contact materials. He was assigned by authority since 2014 to draft a serial of Chinese FCM standards including multilayer packaging, wood and bamboo, paper and paper board, as well as analytical methods for specific migration.

As a regulatory toxicologist with 16 years experiences, Dr. Zhang helps Chemical manufactures understand and comply with global regulations during producing and using of new and existing chemicals. She has successfully delivered compliance solutions to more than 200 International chemical manufacturers. 

Wen-Gie has an MBA in Sustainability & Leadership/BSc in Biology & Chemistry along with 22 years experience in the chemical industry in the areas of product safety & regulatory affairs, and safety health, environment & quality management, manufacturing and engineering.

Jatin Takkar is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the food and packaging industries. He has worked across different verticals like Operations, Quality & Food safety as well as regulatory with strong market players like Nestle, Kraft, Heinz and Siegwerk. Currently, his position is Head - Product Safety and Regulatory at Siegwerk. With his expertise in food safety and his passion for ensuring packaging safety, he is heading a awareness campaign across different stakeholders in the packaging supply chain with the goal of ensuring food safety aspects of the packaging materials. 

Mr. Ioan Paraschiv, next to managing the capacity within FFCM Division, provides regulatory and technical support on registration of food contact materials (FCM) in EU, USA, China and Mercosur. He holds a PhD degree in Physical-Organic Chemistry from Wageningen University, the Netherlands.

Reynold D'Souza works at the Global Product Compliance Group (GPC) as a Senior Consultant. He has fair experience of more than 30 years as a R&D professional in basic and specialty chemical industries. He has worked in the printing ink area and has helped on food packaging laws such as IS 15495-2020.
