Scott Samuels
Principal Consultant – Human Safety: Toxicologist, ERM
Scott Samuels is a regulatory toxicologist, principally dealing with the toxicological and non-dietary exposure assessments for agrochemicals, biocides, and REACH substances. Scott joined ERM one year ago, prior to this he worked as a Senior Toxicologist in the Chemicals Regulation Division of the UK Health and Safety Executive for over 20 years, working on the evaluation and assessment of mammalian toxicology data for UK and EU pesticide and biocides authorisations.
He has experience in evaluating a wide range of toxicological data including acute, sub-acute, carcinogenicity, genotoxicity, reproductive/developmental toxicity, epidemiology and data on modes of action. Scott has represented the UK on the EFSA expert panels on many occasions.
