The latest draft amendments to Taiwan's chemicals registration legislation

In this one-hour webinar, expert contributors analysed the recently published draft amendments to Taiwan’s Regulations for New and Existing Chemicals Substances Registration.

The webinar explored the implications of the proposed changes, published by the country’s EPA in May, and also looked at the practical aspects of registering a chemical, including how the draft amendments differ from the current practice and gave insights into joining registrations, data rights and data access.

Other discussion topics included:

  • a proposed extension to the scope of exemptions
  • the postponement of the deadline for designated standard registrations
  • extended review periods and supplementation
