Jonathan Briggs

Jonathan has a BSc degree in biochemistry (toxicology) from the University of Surrey and has previously worked for the UK's Food Standards Agency as a senior scientific officer on risk management of chemicals in food, including contaminants, pesticides and food contact materials. He joined the European Commission in 2014 and works as a policy officer in DG SANTE, where he is currently leading on the revision of EU legislation on food contact materials.
