Lead Environment Judge, First-tier Tribunal, General Regulatory Chamber
I am a salaried judge in the General Regulatory Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal. We are one of the smallest Chambers but with over 80 appeal types, as diverse as gambling, the environment, charities and information rights.
As one of the Chamber’s full time judges I am responsible for case progression, identifying and managing significant or complex cases, and supporting the part-time judges and specialist members who sit on our cases.
I have been a judge since 2018, and was assigned to the General Regulatory Chamber in February 2022. Before appointment my practice as a barrister focused on public law and judicial review.
