Lisa Allen
Lisa Allen has a background in inorganic and physical chemistry from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining ILA she led the work of REACHReady Ltd, a membership organisation providing regulatory and technical to stakeholders affected by EU REACH.
Since 2016, Lisa has managed the Lead (Pb) REACH Consortium, acting on behalf of a membership of more than 90 legal entities involved in the mining, smelting, refining, use and recycling of lead metal, the manufacture of lead compounds, and the production of lead-based batteries. She also coordinates the efforts of ILA’s cross-industry advocacy and communications taskforce (‘Pb MACTF’), established to support downstream users and other stakeholders impacted by the prioritisation of lead metal for REACH Authorisation.
Lisa is currently co-chair of the Eurometaux Regulatory Forum which assesses EU legislative developments that impact associations and companies in the non-ferrous metals sector.
