Jean-Pierre Schweitzer
Jean-Pierre Schweitzer is Senior Policy Officer for Circular Economy and Products at the EEB. He follows the development of various types of product policy at the European level including ecodesign, green public procurement, extended producer responsibility and product environmental footprinting. He is particularly focused on the electronics and packaging sectors. He also helped to set up the European Right to Repair movement – a growing movement of organisations hoping to enable repair in Europe.
Prior to joining the EEB in 2018, Jean-Pierre worked for four years in the environmental economics team of the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) a Brussels based think-tank. He has a masters in Environmental Policy and Geography from Humboldt University and Oxford.
