Karina currently works at Environment and Climate Change Canada in the Enforcement Branch where she is responsible for the operational planning for environmental enforcement and for reporting on the performance of the Directorate.
After working as a patent lawyer for several years, Karina began a career in the Canadian public service where she worked for such departments as Natural Resources Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
Karina Kessaris holds a bachelor of science and a bachelor of laws from McGill University.
