Dr Edmund Plattner works as an adviser at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management since 1st January 2014.
Before this time he acted in this Ministry as Head of the Division responsible for biocides and represented the Austrian Competent Authority for Biocidal Products at EU-level from 2000 onwards.
Dr Edmund Plattner graduated in Chemistry (Technical University in Vienna) and in Toxicology (University of Surrey, UK).
