Lorenzo Zullo is the co-founder and managing director of ChemChain, a young startup from Luxembourg that has developed and piloted with the chemical industry a revolutionary blockchain platform to transfer information on chemicals in products along the value chain, from chemical manufacturers to consumers, recyclers and waste operators.

Lorenzo is also providing consultancy services to the European non-ferrous metals producers and recyclers association (Eurometaux) supporting chemicals-related regulatory activities. He previously spent 9 years in the European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers’ Association, where he coordinated and managed chemicals and health & safety industry actions. In addition to supporting the enhancement of supply chain interactions, he contributed to the development and implementation of an industry programme to monitor and prioritise more than one thousand chemicals used in the rubber industry. 

Lorenzo holds a MSc in Environmental Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy), a MSc in Chemical Engineering and a MA in Sustainable Infrastructures from the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden).
