Suzanne Wiandt
Suzanne Wiandt has been working for the BAuA - Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in the Federal Office for Chemicals/Authorisation of Biocides in Dortmund since 2005. She is currently the head of the unit 'REACH Helpdesk, Chemical Assessment'.
Suzanne can call on many years of experience in chemical assessment, chemical safety and chemicals priority setting procedures due to different occupations in national and international institutions, e.g. Cabinet Paracelse (1995-1998, Paris), German Federal Environmental Agency (1998 - 2001, 2003 - 2005, Berlin) or at the OSPAR Commission (2001 - 2003, London).
She was involved as expert in different EU-projects, like SHERPER (SME Helpdesk Experts Roundtable - Planning their Establishment for REACH) or SPORT (Strategic partnership on REACH testing), and is since 2007 the German REACH-, CLP- and Biocide - Correspondent in the ECHA HelpNet steering group. At present she is preparing for the expected high demand and support for the last REACH registration deadline in June 2018 focussing on how to support SMEs.
