Food Contact Regulations USA 2018

Alejandro Ariosti is a Chemical Engineer with post-degrees in food science and technology and plastics conversion technologies. He works at the National Institute of Industrial Technology (INTI) – Plastics Center of Argentina performing technical assistance on food contact materials and teaches food packaging at Universities and at the Argentine Packaging Institute.  

Since 1991 he represents INTI at the MERCOSUR Food Packaging Group. He has been the national coordinator of Ibero-American packaging projects. He is also involved in evaluating recycled PET for food applications, in developing standards and regulations for Latin American countries, and in training Latin American professionals and government officials.
