Olivier Baldan
SAICM Industry Engagement Specialist, UN Environment Programme
Olivier Baldan graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Liège in Belgium.
He worked 10 years as a consultant in Safety Risk Management in Major Hazard industries for DNV, first in Belgium and then in Norway. He was Head of Section for Safety Risk Management for one year before moving to Bangkok.
Since 2021, Olivier is working as a consultant focusing on Industry Engagement for the SAICM Secretariat hosted by UNEP.
