Aida Ponce Del Castillo

Aida Ponce Del Castillo works at the Foresight Unit of the European Trade Union Institute (Brussels). She works on strategic foresight and new technology trends. Her focus is on the governance and regulatory aspects of nanotechnologies, Artificial Intelligence, robots, blockchain and data protection (GDPR).
Previously, she was in charge of the ‘Occupational health and safety, working conditions Unit’. She is a member of different working groups within European regulatory bodies and international organizations, including the OECD and WHO. Aida holds a a Master's in Bioethics and obtained her European Doctorate in Law at the Universities of Valencia and Bonn.
