Leading Sustainability in the European Benelux region for HP Inc, Manuel is a rapid growing sustainability professional inside the IT industry, focused on exploring and implement computing and printing sustainability business models for HP customers in the region.
With experience in The Americas and Europe, and skilled in diverse areas of Sustainability, Engineering, and Management, Manuel unfolds systematic complexity into simple terms, easy-to-understand and to implement.
He started his career in sustainability when became the first Sustainability Coordinator at the Rochester Institute of Technology in NY, followed by participation in the Wind Power start-up Kosovo Wind Gardens and SkyTree, an European Space Agency (ESA) spin-out aiming to collect CO2 from ambient air. Manuel also lead the initiative to install the biggest PV installation in the city of Rochester, NY when he was part of the sustainability team at Bausch & Lomb. Manuel holds a Master's Degree focused in Sustainable Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, NY and Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
